So when will we get to see these mysterious and ultra-expensive cables?
The quickest way to see and hear the KS 6000 series speaker cables is to contact your local dealer for an audition. If you do not know who your local dealer is please contact me at todd@kimber.com.
Happy Listening!
on a higher note in sjc orange county where i’m buying a pair of vivid g-1s. like to hear the the6068′s…
I have the KS 3038 and I’d like to buy the Siltech Emperor Corwn, but if the new 6068 is a better kable, I prefer stay with Kimber, because my 3038 is wonderfull.
But how the 6068 could beat the Emperor Crown that several reviews said is the better in the world?
Hello,
No stock in Switzerland to go to listening the 6068, so expensive yes but the market’s very close also.
It’s possible to explain to me the difference between the 3038 = same as 1030 to 1036 ?????
Thanks for your comments.
All the best.
Alexandre
Osvaldo,
I think you need to listen to the 6068. It is stunning. Where are you and I can direct you to a dealer.

I will post the exchange between on of our distributors and Todd Walldorf our resident audiophile:
Hello ****,
I have had the new KS 6068 in my system for a little while and prior to that I had the KS 3038 for the past 6 years. These are my listening impressions so far:
The KS 3038 is very focused in terms of imaging especially with vocals; including instruments which seem to easily occupy their own space on the stage. Bass instruments such as cellos and kick drums are defined and percussive, while high frequency instruments such as strings, symbols, wind instruments and pianos are very open and extended.
By comparison, the KS 6068 though sonically similar betters the 3038 in these areas:
Cleaner detail, focus and definition.
Bass notes are better defined.
Depth of the lowest bass notes have greater depth while still maintaining detail and definition.
Less fatiguing sonic quality at even extreme volume levels.
Smoother and more open.
Even more natural.
Hopefully this helps give you an idea. If you have any more questions please let me know!
Best regards,
Todd Walldorf

Thank you very much Todd for your feed-back and are you going to take the 6068 for a test to the magazine or Stereophile ?
You know my Website, if you want, I’m ready to listening your 6068 to write a test in situation for French (language) people !
Best regards.
Alexandre.
Osvaldo,
I have no idea what any other manufacturer’s product sounds like. It has always been our goal to advance our product using the same methods that yielded the original innovation. This is to say that we never have and never will design our product based on what others are doing. The 6068 is a more open and natural sounding cbale than the 3038. I encourage you to audition all cables o f interest before making a final decision.
The only way to know the sound is to hear it yourself. Have a dealer set up an audition. I am confident the cable can do more convincing than I ever could.
